EXPERIENCE :
Holding BE & M. Tech degree from NIT Bhopal with 32 Years’ of experience in Academics, New project development from concept to commissioning, business development, technical consulting in the field of plastics engineering and technology. Awarded UNIDO Fellowship in 1997 for advance training in the field of plastics processing in Canada. Travelled widely across globe as part of different academic & consultancy projects. Working for different technical committees of BIS for standard development for plastics products, qualified lead auditor for ISO QMS. Contributed as an important resource person for various Technical assignments, consultancy projects related to Plastics Sector in India, Srilanka, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc. between 1999-2006. During 2007-2010 Coordinated National studies on behalf of Government of India on topics such as environmental impact on bio- degradable plastics, human resource requirement in plastics/petro-chemical industries, promotion of recycling technology for plastic waste, assessment and quantification of plastic waste in 60 Indian cities, etc. Recently, nominated by BIS as Project Leader for developing new Standard for Plastics Recycling. Actively participating in ISO technical committee on Environmental issues for Standardization activities, specifically on Plastics & Environment issues. Delivered lectures on Plastics & Waste recycling at different forums including a special invited lecture at University of Toronto in 2010.
